Major characteristics

The road network file (RNF) contains a digital road layer for Canada. The road layer includes roads, with road names, type, direction and address ranges.

The positional accuracy of the RNF does not support cadastral, surveying, digitizing or engineering applications.The RNF is in latitude/longitude coordinates based upon the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD83). A reference guide is available (92-500-GIE).
